Rental Policies

 

Rental Agreement

Check in time is 4pm. This time is NOT guaranteed in the Summer months.

Check out is 11:00 am and on Saturdays during peak season we never allow late check out.

Guests agree not to exceed the maximum occupancy that is listed on the confirmation.

The persons signing the confirmation MUST occupy the premises for the entire length of the stay.

We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. Anyone found breaking this policy will be required to leave the premises immediately with NO REFUND.

 All rental properties are NON-SMOKING.

Any use of the premises other than a family vacation must be approved through South Beach Inn & Vacation rentals. If the property is going to be used for any events such as weddings, receptions, parties or large gatherings, the guest agrees to submit to the Agency the details. If approved, guest agrees to pay any additional fees that may be associated with such gatherings such as carpet cleaning, trash removal, damages, etc., in addition to any security deposit as set by the Agency.

All homes and villas are individually owned properties, all equipment should be in working order, but you should promptly report anything inoperative. After hours repairs will be limited to emergency situations only. All efforts will be made to expedite repair but NO REFUNDS will be made.

South Beach Inn & Vacation Rentals will not issue any refunds for voluntary hurricane evacuations or any other natural disaster unless it is a mandatory evacuation.

Guest is responsible for locking the rental property. Neither the Owner nor the Agency will be held responsible or liable for any theft or loss.

Lost items will be returned if found. Agency is not responsible for left items. Guests will be charged for return postage and materials for return items to the guests. Please remind all guests to make sure all drawers and closets are thoroughly checked prior to your departure.

Pets are not permitted in our properties or on premises unless it is a "Pet Friendly” accommodation. If you are found in violation of this policy, you will be asked to vacate the premises immediately without a refund. Pets must be declared at the time of booking and will require a $100.00 non-refundable pet cleaning fee. Additionally, guest will incur charges for any damage, flea treatment, carpet cleaning, or excessive cleaning as a result of the pet guest. If no other arrangements are made, charges will be put to the card on file.

Trailers, motorcycles, motor homes and/or recreational vehicles are prohibited in Sea Pines Plantation.

 

 

RATES

Published rates are starting rates for homes & villas and nightly in the suites.

 All rates are subject to change without notice.

 Rates are subject to 11% tax unless staying 90+ days.

 All vehicles require gate access. All passes will be mailed to the address on the reservation time permitting.  If mailing is not possible, there will be a one- time cost of $8.00 or $22.00 per vehicle to gain entry into Sea Pines Plantation.

 

 

PAYMENT

40% deposit is required on all homes and villas. This payment is taken at time of booking.

The final balance will be charged to the card on file 30 days prior to arrival.

All reservations made within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.

A credit card is required on the suites to guarantee the reservation.

Checks are accepted only with a valid drivers license.

A $35.00 fee will be assessed for any returned checks.

 

CANCELLATION

Homes & villas – cancellations made 61 days or more ahead of your arrival date will result in a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made 60 - 31 days prior to the arrival date will result in a loss of deposit monies. If cancellation is made after this time, the entire rental balance is forfeited.

Suites - Guests may cancel 72 hours prior to their arrival date. If cancellation is made within the 72 hour period, 50% of your total room stay will be charged.

There are no refunds for no-shows or early departures.

Should the Owner of the Property under our management program elect to remove their property for our program for any reason, the guest shall not hold the South Beach Marina Inn & Vacation Rentals liable. We will make every attempt to place you into a comparable property as determined by South Beach Marina Inn & Vacation Rentals. If a comparable property is not available, we will refund any monies paid to date by the guest.

 

 

 

MONTHLY RENTALS

A 20% deposit is due at the time of booking.  This amount is refundable, less a $150 cancellation fee, if cancellation occurs more than 180 days ahead of arrival date.  Prepayments must total 50% at 180 days prior to arrival.  If cancellation occurs between 180 days and 45 days prior to arrival you will forfeit the 50% prepayment.  IF cancellation occurs 45 days or less prior to arrival date, you will forfeit the full amount of your rental balance.  Final Payments are due 45 days prior to arrival and will be charged automatically to the card on file.  There will be no refunds for early checkouts, no-shows, or inclement weather.

Tax will be added at a rate of 11% to all reservations, unless you are staying over 90 consecutive days.
